Even if some adults choose not to play, they are still guests who receive our full attention in both the arena and dining room.
Typically, staff members will assist in the play arena and in the dining room, plus one facility supervisor will oversee your event and check in with you throughout. Please contact our event planners 2-3 days ahead if you expect over 50 guests, as staffing may need to be adjusted for your larger event. Note: Extra staffing charges may apply if your actual group size is smaller than originally estimated.
Yes! Every party package includes free electronic invitations and thank-you notes that you can email directly to your guests. You can also choose to print them at home and hand them out.
With all Party Packages, Scooter's Jungle Valencia provides plates, napkins, forks, and cups in white for an extra fee. The Over the Top Package includes all single-use utensils in white, 6 table covers and 12 colorful balloons. You are welcome to bring your own themed tabletop decorations. To help us keep our dining rooms in great condition, decorations may not be taped, stapled, or tacked to the walls or furniture.
Yes! We use quality balloons and offer a variety of colors and styles. The Over the Top Package includes 12 colorful balloons. You are also welcome to bring your own balloons, and we will inflate them for a fee. We do not allow customer helium tanks in our building or parking lot.
Scooter's Jungle Valencia offers a fun selection of premium goodie bags and plush novelties. The Over the Top Package includes 20 goodie bags for kids. Visit the Party Supplies section of our website for our current selection (supplies may vary by location).
All party guests are invited to sign the Scooter's Jungle Memory T-Shirt using brightly colored markers, leaving personal messages for the birthday child. The Memory Shirt is included in the Over the Top Package and can also be added as an upgrade. It is a wonderful keepsake from a very special day and a great addition to any wardrobe!
Please see the list of food items the host CAN bring in at no charge. Food Handling Charges will apply for: extra fruit/veggie platters (beyond 2 total), cold dishes such as salads, sandwiches, and cold cuts, and hot dishes including main and side dishes. We offer a maximum "catering" fee; please contact the store for pricing. Please note that we cannot keep dishes warm or reheat them.
Hosts or guests may NOT bring in any type of glass containers (including glass bowls). Please choose metal, plastic, wood, or acrylic containers instead.
Guests also may NOT bring alcoholic drinks, ice, ice chests, electrical appliances or plug-ins, helium tanks, popcorn, confetti, drugs, firearms, knives, animals, reptiles, or insects into the building.
Items the host can bring in for additional fees include: Cold Platters, Meat Platters and/or Hot Platters, Pinatas, balloon arches, and candy bars (please call for other miscellaneous items).
We do not provide dessert items, but our staff loves helping you with whatever special treat you bring! Refrigerator space is limited; we can usually fit up to a half-sheet cake. You are welcome to bring an ice cream cake, but please note we do not have freezer space available. "Hard frozen" ice cream cakes, brought directly from the vendor, work great stored in our refrigerator during your playtime. Candles are available for a nominal fee.

No. Although we do not use peanut by-products in our kitchen, we allow events to bring in outside foods, and therefore cannot claim to be peanut-free. Please contact Scooter's Jungle Valencia directly for information about specific egg-containing food products.
With all the incredible inflatables and games in our arenas, you won't need additional amusement! However, if you'd like to supplement the arena activities, you are welcome to bring in an entertainer such as a magician, clown, character, or balloon artist. Face painting is only allowed in the dining rooms in order to protect the play equipment. If your additional amusement requires setup space and time, a handling fee will apply (setup must be completed within your scheduled event time).
A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party. The balance is due and payable on the day of your party.
For your convenience, we accept cash, Amex, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover as payment options. Some locations accept personal checks for event deposits. Checks are not accepted for final payment.
Party date changes must be made at least ten (10) days prior to your scheduled event. A fee will be charged at the time the event is rescheduled.
If you cancel at least ten (10) days prior to your event, you may reuse your deposit for up to one year from the date of the cancelled event, subject to a reschedule fee. For events using more than one time slot, you must cancel at least twenty-one (21) days before the scheduled event to reuse your deposit. For cancellations less than ten (10) days before the scheduled event (or less than 21 days for events using more than one time slot), the deposit will be forfeited. If you choose not to show up to the event or cancel less than 24 hours before your event, you will be charged 100% of the base party price plus a 10% gratuity for services, to cover staffing brought in for your event.
Please note, the party will not be considered cancelled until you have received an email confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours after cancelling, please contact the store manager. You will be required to produce this cancellation notice in case of any discrepancies. It is the customer's responsibility to obtain cancellation confirmation.
Our dining rooms feature a tropical theme. Host parents are welcome to personalize their private dining room with themed items they bring in. More involved dining room setups will require extra assistance from parents during the event.
Ideal items to bring for standard setups include: table covers (required; 6 table covers for Village/Ultimate events, included in the Over the Top Package), centerpieces, balloons, dessert area decor (including non-glass frames and cardboard backdrops), and small toys on dining or dessert tables.
Items beyond this will need parent assistance to set up during regular event time. We provide special masking tape for hanging small banner items on wood areas of our cabinets and/or bamboo trim. Limited wall decor is allowed, but only with our tape. Nothing may be attached to wall graphics, dining benches, or ceilings, and nothing may be hung anywhere that cannot be reached while standing on the floor.
Our well-trained and helpful staff will set up and decorate your dining room while you and your guests enjoy the arena. About 10 minutes before entering the dining room, we will invite you to preview the setup so we can make any adjustments you'd like.
Your snacks always look great in special containers! You are welcome to bring wood, plastic, acrylic, or metal containers for chips, fruit, veggies, and more to dress up your dining room spread.
There is a nominal fee for accommodating Candy Bars and Pinatas. Please contact Scooter's Jungle Valencia for the current amount (typically around $75). For Candy Bars, we can provide an extra table; a table cover is required. We will assist with setup and takedown.
For Pinatas, only pull-string pinatas may be brought to the facility. We do not recommend pinatas at Scooter's Jungle parties, but if essential, they can only be used in the dining rooms. All supplies, including a broomstick to hang it from and parents to hold the stick, must be provided by the host parent.
Scooter's Jungle Valencia offers a variety of fresh homemade pizzas made on-site in our ovens. You are welcome to supplement our main dishes at no charge with dry snacks and up to two additional platters (one fruit platter and one veggie platter, plus dips up to 30 oz.). A fee will be charged for salads, sandwiches, or hot foods brought in for your event. Please contact Scooter's Jungle Valencia for the full menu and current food offerings.
Per health code, we are unable to heat or reheat any dishes brought in from outside for food safety reasons. Please pre-heat special food items and transport them in a travel container.
Our amazing staff will serve food and drinks to the children, refill drinks, and offer additional food after all the kids are served. We request that adults serve themselves; we set up an "adult food table" for easy access. Extra staff can be added for a nominal fee if you would like us to serve the adults as well. Please discuss this during the booking process.
Every staff member is required to receive and maintain a California state food handler certificate, and managers must maintain a ServSafe Certification.
Due to safety risks and fire hazards, hot items such as hot plates, chafing dishes, coffee makers, chocolate fountains, and similar appliances are not allowed.
Yes! To meet our own high standards, we make our own delicious homemade pizzas in-house using trained pizza staff and our very own ovens.

After everyone has eaten, our staff will prepare the cake or cupcakes, light the candles, and lead the singing of the birthday song. We provide the knife and lighter for the cake, cut it, and serve all guests including adults. (Note: adults may need to assist with cake service if the group is large or gifts are being opened at the same time.)

We offer a variety of soda and non-carbonated drinks that can be served during your dining room time and purchased a la carte. The Super and Over the Top Packages include 3 refillable drink pitchers for your guests.
Instead of scooped ice cream, we recommend bringing ice cream cakes or individual ice cream cups, frozen very hard, which are easy to serve.
If you decide to open gifts, our staff will guide the birthday child to the throne and present each gift for opening. We will ask a parent volunteer (not the birthday parent) to note the type of gift next to each invited guest's name on our check-in list, so you can stay focused and enjoy the moment with all your guests. After all gifts have been opened and acknowledged, we will bag them for easy transport home. Please note: we do not open cards during gift opening due to time constraints.
Yes. Even though we are not a traditional restaurant, our kitchen and facility are inspected and approved by the local county Department of Health for full "food handling" licensing.
For safety, any guest wearing a cast, splint, sling, or brace is welcome to attend the event and participate in floor games, but will not be permitted on the inflatables.
For insurance purposes, every guest who enters our play arenas, even grandparents and babies who may not play, must have a completed liability waiver. For guests under 18 years of age, the waiver must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian. Yes, socks are required to play on the inflatables for hygiene purposes. For those who forget, socks are available for a minimal fee.
Yes! Most of our custom-built inflatables and attractions are adult-sized, so we absolutely encourage adult play (as long as you are within the manufacturer's guidelines for height and weight, which are posted within the facility).
Scooter's Jungle Valencia features custom-made, enormous inflatables and permanent attractions sized right for kids and adults alike, from ages 1 to 101. Our age-appropriate arenas offer a wide variety of activities, including towering indoor slides, ziplines, obstacle courses, a laser game room, sports courts, and creative imagination zones, just to name a few.
Our fun and friendly trained staff provides supervision in the inflatable play areas; however, supervision is a shared responsibility between adult guests and our staff.
Absolutely! Our custom-made inflatables and attractions are designed for high-volume, indoor use. Each inflatable goes through rigorous testing before being released to any Scooter's Jungle location. We anchor each inflatable to the floor and/or wall for extra stability, and we follow a daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule to keep our facility and equipment clean and fresh. Our inflatables and attractions also follow a routine inspection plan for ongoing maintenance needs.
We ask that the event host arrive five minutes before the event start time listed on the reservation agreement. Our staff will help you unload your car, review your plans, get you checked in, and confirm your party details, so you can relax and welcome your guests without any worries.
We suggest guests arrive at the beginning of the scheduled party time. We start with a 15-minute "meet and greet" period to: a) Complete waivers, b) Check in gifts, c) Welcome guests, d) Provide the safety speech.
Approximately 10 minutes into your meet and greet time, we start the safety speech once about half of the expected kids have arrived. Any guest who arrives after the safety speech has started will be checked in and provided an individual safety review.
Not at all! At Scooter's Jungle Valencia, we check in all gifts for the birthday child. We tag, document, and note each invited guest's name, and keep the gifts safe throughout the event.
The party host is required to stay for the duration of the party. We encourage all adults to stay and enjoy the inflatables! If you cannot stay, please designate another adult in your party to assume responsibility. We recommend at least five (5) adults remain at your event. Note: Teen events (ages 15 and older) require at least a 10:1 adult ratio, and adults must be 25 or older to count as supervisors at a teen event.
Scooter's Jungle's amazing staff helps supervise and encourage both adults and kids to play. Our arena staff will give the birthday child a choice of fun games to play, such as hide and seek, relay races, or "climb the slide." Since safety is a shared responsibility, we recommend all adults help supervise and report any concerns.
We are unable to extend your arena playtime unless you have the first or last scheduled party of the day. Extensions must be planned during the booking process and an additional fee will apply.
We allow water bottles in the arenas during playtime. Juice, sodas, and snacks can damage the inflatables, and bouncing kids don't mix well with sweet drinks and full stomachs! (Note: The Jr! Arena does accommodate snacks from the beginning of your event.)
Ten minutes before your party moves into the dining room, our friendly staff will gather all the kids for a group photo opportunity with the birthday child wearing their crown or tiara.

Some events are really large! For those occasions, we may offer a "Side-by-Side" option that could be a better fit for your group. Please contact Scooter's Jungle Valencia to discuss availability and minimum spending requirements. If your group qualifies to book two arenas as a Side-by-Side, you will be required to pay the rental fee for each arena. Base headcounts remain the same as for a single party. If minimum spends are not met during the event, the difference will be applied to your final bill at checkout.
Yes. Our Open Play events are not designed for drop-offs; a parent or guardian must stay with the child(ren). Adults are welcome to bring small groups of kids, as long as they remain responsible for each minor during the entire session.

Space is limited and entry is provided on a first come, first served basis. We request no outside food, drinks, gifts, or party supplies at Open Play events. Dining rooms are not available during Open Play events. Check our calendar at scootersjungle.com/valencia/calendar/ for upcoming sessions.
Leftover pizza (there usually isn't any!) will be placed in takeout boxes, and all other leftover food will be wrapped, packed, and loaded onto a cart ready for you to take home.
We'll pack everything up nice and neat and have it ready on a cart to take to your car after you have checked out.
No need to worry; that's our job! Once you have said goodbye to your last guest and settled up, we'll help you load gifts, leftovers, and supplies into your car. We take care of the cleanup so you can head home, put your feet up, and enjoy the smiles on your child's face.
